C’mon, Cesar Millan, you had one job! You were supposed to bring balance to animals, not pit them against each other.

Authorities say the famous Dog Whisperer host is currently under investigation for possible animal cruelty that occurred on his Cesar 911 TV show. Sheriff’s deputies and investigators with LA County Animal Control tried to track down Millan at his Dog Psychology Center Thursday evening, but the dude is (conveniently) out of town on a business trip.

The investigation comes because Millan used a live pig to train a dog that had a history of attacking pigs on Cesar 911. Naturally, the dog bit the pig’s ear, causing it to bleed. Right after the episode aired, animal welfare officials were flooded with calls about the whole bloody mess.

Animal Control says Millan has 24 hours to make contact with investigators, who are trying to find this pig and make sure it’s OK. (You can’t make this stuff up.)

Of course, the incident caused a shitstorm on social media. Laura Nativo, a professional dog trainer, helped organize a petition to cancel Millan's TV show. Over 9,000 people have signed it so far.

"It was really difficult to watch," Nativo said. "It's not the way to rehabilitate an animal that is fearful and aggressive to pigs."
